Thank you for taking time to learn about the SILV High Roller Series (HRS). We are excited about the potential of this new addition to the annual Supras Invade Las Vegas event. Please review the program details here and then use the form at the bottom of this page to sign up for this exciting new addition to the annual Supras Invade Las Vegas event.

The SILV High Roller Series (HRS) is designed to showcase some of the most powerful JZA80 Toyota Supras anywhere on the planet. This new addition is intended to propel the annual SILV event further forward making it even more exciting for participants and spectators alike. This is a very exclusive program limited to just 12 participants.

Please take some time to read through this page and familiarize yourself with this year’s HRS program before you register.

Requirements:
The SILV08 High Roller Series is open only to JZA80 Toyota Supras producing a minimum of 800whp – a dyno sheet may be requested to confirm eligibility. This is intended to showcase the upper echelon of the Supra community.
Minimum Participants:
To make sure that the High Roller Series is as exciting as possible we must have a minimum of six (6) participants or we will have to cancel this element of SILV08. This year we will limit the number of participants to Twelve (12).
Registration Fee: $250
This year the registration fee for the HRS will be $250. Part of this fee will be put into a cash payout for the winner of the Unlimited Class at the Drag Showdown. This fee will also include your dyno fee. Please note that if you register by August 1, 2008 we will waive your dyno fee. The balance of this fee will be refunded upon successfull completion of the Mileage Reimbursement and Registration Refund Requirements listed below.
  • $100 will be put into the pot for the winner of the Unlimited Class at the Drag Showdown
  • The remaining balance will be refunded upon successful completion of the requirements listed below
  • Show-and-Shine entry fee will be waived for all High Roller Series Participants
  • If you register by August 1, 2008, we will waive your Dyno Challenge fee
  • Registrations received after August 1, 2008 will have the Dyno Challenge fee ($46.50) deducted from the balance.
  • We will waive the entire HRS registration fee for anyone that also signs up as an SILV08 sponsor.
Awards:
All HRS participants will be eligible for the regular SILV08 award categories at the Show-and-Shine, Drag Showdown, and Dyno Challenge. Additionally, we have created a special competition with dedicated trophies for the top three finishers in the overall High Roller Series – see High Roller Series Competition below for more details.
Cash Payouts:
To make things a little more interesting we are going to have a cash payout for the Unlimited Class at the Drag Showdown. We are also hoping to have a cash payout for the winner of the HRS.
  • The Unlimited Class at the Drag Showdown will have a cash payout this year. $100 from each participant’s registration will be put into the pot for this payout.
  • The High Roller Series may have a cash payout. This is yet to be determined and will be based on the money raised from the Show-and-Shine participants and High Roller Series supporters.
High Roller Series Competition:
The High Roller Series participants will compete in the following categories:
  • Drag Showdown
    • Lowest ET
    • Best RT
    • Highest MPH
  • Dyno Challenge
    • Highest HP – no nitrous
    • Highest Torque – no nitrous
  • Show-and-Shine
    • Best Engine
    • Best Exterior
    • Best Interior
  • In the event of a tie, the mileage driven to SILV08 will be used to determine final placement.
Dyno Challenge:
We are bringing back the Invitational session for the High Roller Series Participants this year. All HRS Participants will have their time on the rollers scheduled in the afternoon. Each participant will have up to 15 minutes from the time the strap-down is completed to make up to three (3) pulls. Participation in the Dyno Challenge is not required but it is encouraged.
Show-and-Shine:
New for the SILV08 Show-and-Shine is High Roller Alley. All HRS Participants will be parked together in a dedicated area. A select panel of judges will review each participating HRS Supra and rank them from first to last place. This will be the best chance for everyone to see your Supra up close. We encourage you to stay near your Supra to answer questions.
Drag Showdown:
High Roller Series Participants will be racing in the Unlimited Class.
Mileage Reimbursement:
To help bring out some of the top Supras in the world for this year’s event we have created a High Roller Series Mileage Reimbursement program. Money for this program will be raised in part from the Show-and-Shine registration fee and from the High Roller Series supporters’ contributions.

Payouts will be determined by the mileage driven to SILV08. We will calculate the total number of miles driven by all HRS participants.

Example: ShopA drives 874 miles to Las Vegas and combined, all HRS participants drive a total of 5837 miles, then ShopA’s percentage of the total miles would be 14.9%. If there is $8000 in the mileage reimbursement fund then ShopA’s Mileage Reimbursement would be $1192.
Mileage Reimbursement and Registration Refund Requirements:
  • You must sign up and pay registration fee no later than August 1, 2008
  • You must bring a JZA80 Toyota Supra to SILV08 – October 2 – 4, 2008
  • You must park a JZA80 Toyota Supra in “High Roller Alley” at the Show-and-Shine on October 3, 2008

      • Participants will not be allowed into High Roller Alley after 12:45pm.
      • Any participant not parked in High Roller Alley by 12:45pm will forfeit their participation in the Mileage Reimbursement or Registration Refund programs
