| Mike and the crew were on fire this year. They were averaging eight minutes to get the cars strapped down, run twice, and then off the rollers for the open session. They were able to get more than 30 Supras run through during the morning group. Horsepower numbers were up a bit this year as some of last year's winners returned and won again this year with slightly higher numbers. The MkIIIs finally had some decent numbers.
For the MkIIIs, Duane Stephens came out kicking with a 600+ run... only to be beaten out by Tony and Rey. After the awards presentation Rey strapped his MkIII back down and upped the bar again... this time dropping nearly 800hp. Way to go!
The Invitational session was VERY exciting. The big guns were out and battling fiercly for the title. Ryan Woon came out swinging with his 970 run... but got knocked off by Saad Saad rattling the walls with just a hair over 1100. When the dust finally cleared it was Ken Henderson standing on top of the pile bringing down the house with his 1110 run on twin turbos with no nitrous, beating his previous best of 1047.
